Projects

The first Projects in the frame of the Swiss contribution to Latvia have already been approved. Here you can find a list with all approved and planned Projects.

Thematic priorities
Switzerland’s cooperation with Latvia aims at promoting security, stability and support for reforms, improving environment and infrastructure, promoting private sector development, human and social development and NGO activities.

Project selection and Contract awarding
Projects are selected by the National Coordination Unit NCU (Ministry of Finance of Latvia, Financial Instruments Coordination Dep) according to the thematic priorities and procedures outlined in the Swiss-Latvian Framework Agreement. Project proposals have to be submitted to the NCU (which may also propose projects itself), which will then forward them to the competent Swiss authority for approval.
